About M. Serrano

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Bonjour!

I am very excited to teach grade 6 and to be teaching your child this year.  I am looking forward to making new memories this school year and helping your child to achieve his or her goals.

I was born in Montréal but grew up in London Ontario where I completed my undergraduate degree in Art History and English at UWO.  I also received my Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor.

I learned French from growing up a French-first language school in my childhood and actively taking steps to practice French throughout my life.  This includes summer courses at the University of Laval in Québec City and moving to Paris in 2005.

My teaching experience ranges from teaching grades one to grade six. Before being hired by the LDCSB, I worked at École Frère André for the French Board (Conseil scolaire catholique Providence) in a supportive role. I have taught in the LDCSB at both St. Anthony Catholic French Immersion and Holy Family Catholic French Immersion, Woodstock.

So get ready and gear up for an exciting school year!
