Shrove Tuesday
Thank you to parent council who will be hosting Shrove Tuesday this week. Remember, students are asked to bring in their own plate and utensils

Ash Wednesday
There will be a liturgy Wednesday morning as students will be receiving their ashes for lent.

Constellations Thursday
Students are invited to bring in their devices to look at constellations in class. Before coming to class, students are asked to download the Star Tracker App, or any other constellation app for their device. Devices will be kept in class and locked up for the day. They will only be taken out during the science period.

PJ Day for Read-A-Thon (Friday)
Thank you to everyone who has donated towards the Read-A-Thon. Thank you also to everyone for encouraging your child to read at home. Although we did not win the prize for the junior division, the entire school is awarded a PJ Day on Friday.

March 10th-14th

At St. Anthony, we are a recycling hub for several different materials. Please consider gathering and sending in the following recyclables:

Mechanical Pencils, Pens, and Markers
Plastic Bags
 

Google Translate Mobile App
Google has a great mobile app to help you translate English into any language except for Wookie.  It has three separate functions, the most interesting of which is the ability to use your mobile camera to translate various texts into English instantaneously on your screen. Although the translations are not perfect, it is more than enough to give user a good idea of what is being said.
