Welcome Mme Soliman
Mme Soliman is our student teacher and will be with us for three weeks. We look forward to working with Mme Soliman while she prepares for the teaching career.

 

Science Presentations
Our diorama build day was last Wednesday and it was a success. Students will prepare their presentations on Monday and will be set to present their dioramas to visiting classes on Tuesday. All dioramas will go home Tuesday afternoon. We will be starting our Social Studies unit shortly.

 

Mass at St. Justin's
Wednesday, we will be celebrating mass at St. Justin's Parish. Come worship with us if you are available.

Math Retake
Our students struggled with our latest math assessment. There will be a retake sometime this week. Date to be determined.
Earlier in the week students were told that videos have been posted on the class website if they needed extra help with the concepts of this unit. I will keep these videos posted until we write the retake. 

Halloween (orange and black)
Friday is Halloween. Students are invited to wear orange and black. Just as in previous years, please no costumes at school.

Parent Council Fundraiser

St. Anthony’s Parent Council invites you take part in our Christmas Fundraiser featuring freshly roasted Premium Colombian Coffee( available as 1lb bags of whole beans or ground), a selection of specialty teas, and premium Hot Chocolate-perfect for the season!
Enjoy your favourite beverage in a St. Anthony’s logo mug, but the mugs are limited.
A portion of all proceeds will go directly to back to the school to support student activities.

Google Translate Mobile App
Google has a great mobile app to help you translate English into any language except for Wookie.  It has three separate functions, the most interesting of which is the ability to use your mobile camera to translate various texts into English instantaneously on your screen. Although the translations are not perfect, it is more than enough to give user a good idea of what is being said.
